Researchers at the University of St Andrews have found that people rated as being more attractive and having the brightest skin complexion ate more fruits and vegetables than those who were rate as ‘less’ attractive. It is believed that carotenoid pigments may explain this effect and that by eating fruit and vegetables that are rich in antioxidant pigments, such as peaches, plums and nectarines, you will give your skin a more healthy glow.
